"Upon hitting play on the three or four songs available on Rangleklods' websites we were immediately hit by that one essential ingredient we hunt so hard for – originality. Bing! (...) With Rangleklods we have someone who is able to bridge the ambitious and the accessible, but most importantly we've learned to understand the unique, admirable quality that is required to unlock originality – bravery – and this guy has it in spades."

Rangleklods released his debut EP 'Home' in October 2011, which was followed up five months later with the album 'Beekeeper'. The title of the album is a very describing image of how Rangleklods creates and considers his music: the connectedness of order and chaos. What may strike its audience as chaos at first listen later reveals itself as carefully ordered elements while unheard layers of sound and intensions continue to appear. Everything has a place, a meaning and a goal - just like the bees of a hive. Following these critically acclaimed releases Rangleklods has been picked to play SPOT Festival, The Great Escape, Roskilde Festival, Iceland Airwaves and Dockville to name a few. Furthermore Rangleklods toured with WhoMadeWho on their spring tour 2012 in Germany and Denmark.

During concerts Rangleklods breaks out of the stereotypical notion of the laptop concert by doing as much live as possible; singing, playing instruments and using various controllers (ie. a home built distance sensor box). The object is to lose total control and take chances to such a degree that mistakes – and how to constructively deal with them – often lurk around the corner, making the concerts better and more acute for the audience as well as Rangleklods. In this aspect the live performances separates themselves very much from the actual production of the tracks, where Rangleklods spends countless hours on compositional details and the aural quality and timbre. At this years SPOT Festival the concert was awarded top score in several music magazines, proving that a Rangleklods concert is undoubtedly worth experiencing. These considerations regarding live performances are based in Esben Andersen's – the man behind Rangleklods – masters degree in Electronic Music (DIEM) from The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, DK.
